I can’t even begin to express my excitement about this. Well…I had the honor of rushing one of my sweet potato pies to John F. Kennedy airport and into the waiting arms of my favorite musician of all time: the incredible jazz singer Gregory Porter (on the far left)!  He absolutely loves Harlem and sings about it often: but told me there’s nothing that says “Harlem” quite like one of my sweet potato pies.  How sweet, and what an incredible honor! I wonder if he’ll share with his band…?
